From Minier studies, the 'Imperial Pearl'®, is dotted with a constellation of bunches of bright purple pearls (berries). In spring discreet, but original, little lilac coloured flowers, with yellow stamens, appear. In autumn, leaves will get astonishing purple and yellow tints. This dense and well ramified bush is easy to grow in any normal soil, even chalky. Plant in a sheltered area, in the sun or half-shade. perfect for hedges with various other bushes, and aso in flowerbeds.
