Edited by Minier in 2007. Selected from the Vasterival garden in Normandy, property of Princess Sturdza. Very floriferous. Numerous white umbel flowers in May-June for 6 to 8 weeks, followed by red fruits in late summer and early autumn. Beautiful early autumn colouring. Graphical layered growth habit. Selection of the plant collected by Charles Maries (GB), harvester for Veitch & Sons Nurseries in London between 1877 and 1879.
