Very floriferous and compact. Excellent in semi-shade. Numerous flowers in late spring and early summer, then in late summer and early autumn.Beautiful embossed flowers with subtle colouring, from 12 to 15 cm diameter with a nice purple bunch of stamens. A clematis appreciates having its roots in the shade and its flower head in the sun.
